		<description>Wind shear is air moving straight down. The aircraft pancakes into the ground unless several thousand feet in altitude. In any case, US Navy pilots would seem to do best under these conditions....just sayin'</description>

		<description>that wasnt wind shear.  that is just how the approach to the old Hong Kong airport was.  the pilots had to aim toward a checkerboard and then make a SHARP right turn to align to the runway.  if the pilot over shot the turn, this is the result.</description>
